She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wieding and Ella Wieding (Vorwerk) of Henry County; and her daughter Janice McCague. She is survived by: her husband Frank Smith; and her children, Carolyn Bigger (Russell) of Ridgeville Corners, Frank L. Smith Jr. (Benilda) of Archbold, John Smith (Judy) of Ridgeville Corners, Marilyn Boltz (Paul Sr.) of Freemont, Thomas Smith (Debra) of Montpelier, Frederick Smith of Ridgeville Corners, Rosemary Kennedy of Kissimmee and Julie Busch (Tracy) of Napoleon. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Mary's memory may be considered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Henry County Senior Center- Meals On Wheels program or to a charity of the donor's choice.
