It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin A. Michaelis (Napoleon, Ohio), born in Holgate, Ohio, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Michaelis; his wife Nancy Mae Michaelis (Walter); his great grandchild Eden Lynn Miller; his stepmother Anna Michaelis (Smith Franz); and his siblings, Clarence Michaelis, Betty Middleton (Dan) and Ben Michaelis (Barb).
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Michaelis (Becky), Annette Miller (Randy) and Tammy Gould (Clint); his grandchildren, Sierra Michaelis, Melissa Allen (Brian), Kendra Michaelis (Job Ramirez), Jordan Miller (Sarah), Taylor Miller (Dillon Hutchison), Logan Gould and Hailey Gould; his great grandchildren, Sophie Allen, Eleanor Miller, Henry Miller and Judy Allen; his stepchildren, Steve Dennis II (Michelle Mahlman) and Shelly Storch (Alan); his sister Diann Johnson (George); and his sisters-in-law, Rozella Gruenhagen and Judy Michaelis. He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Marvin and Nancy Michaelis 4-H Endowment Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
