He was predeceased by: his father Ronald MacFarlane; and his brothers, James and John MacFarlane. He is survived by: his children, Ian MacFarlane (Emily) of Maumee, OH, Brandon MacFarlane (Amanda) of Delta, OH, Erin Minturn (Eric) of Napoleon, OH and Kayley Smigielski (Luke) of Swanton, OH; and his sister Charlene Zarko (Len) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
