He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence F. Ashbaugh and Grace E. Ashbaugh (Green); his siblings, Penny Cmehil, Kathy Fortney, Tom and Terry Ashbaugh; and his niece Sherry Estep.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Damman; his children, Chris Ashbaugh (Teresa), Tom Ashbaugh (Darcy), Chad Ashbaugh, Larry Ashbaugh (Karri), Dawn Cordes (Jeff Waisner) and Heidi Ashbaugh; his grandchildren, Colin, Makenna, Chandler, Trevor, Karsyn, Taylor, Kenny, Emma, Kaylynn, Chance, Ian, Conner, Madison, Morgan, Kix Cordes, Mario, Damien Rivera and Nyxon Saldivar; and his siblings, Peg Smiley (Jim), Cindy Anderson (Gary) and Pat Richards (John).
