Jose Martinez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2023, at the age of 81, Jose Martinez of Napoleon, Ohio, born in Weslaco, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Moises Martinez and Eufracia Martinez (Ledesma); his sons, David Martinez and Israel Martinez; his stepson Andrew Buchhop; and his siblings, Israel Martinez and Maria Martinez.

He is survived by: his close friend Susan; his children, Linda Mellon (Jeff), José Martinez, Jr., Hector Martinez, Rebecca Martinez and Susana Mc Leod; his stepdaughter Jennifer Buchhop; his daughter-in-law Deanna Martinez; and his siblings, Olga Martinez, Hector Martinez (Chavela), Oralia Martinez, Moises Martinez (Chelo) and Lupita DeLopez (Paulino). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
