She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne "Pete" Shartzer and Dorothy "Dot" Shartzer (Shafer); and her former spouse Thomas Holmes. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Holmes and Troy Holmes (Laurie); and her sister Janet Grubaugh (Leroy). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Elara Caring Hospice or Genacross Lutheran Services.
