James Stites Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Stites of Napoleon, Ohio, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Stites and Lois Knipp Stites; his children, Alexander (Alex), Emily and Robert (Bobby); his grandchild Harper; his friend Detroit; and his sister Kay (Jeff Bunke).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rodenberger Funeral Home - Napoleon (1010 Westmoreland Ave, Napoleon, OH 43545). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, his family has asked that donations be contributed to the University of Michigan in memory of Jim Stites allocated to the Jim Stites Memorial Gift to honor his memory as a life-long Wolverines fan.
