He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Van Poppel of Chardon, Evelyn Good (Vern) of Murfreesboro, Tenn, Kathy Sanniti (Carl) of Chagrin Falls and Robert Van Poppel of Whispering Pines, N. C.; his wife Emma "Cookie" Morris; his children, Barb Schudel (Mike) of Kalamazoo, Patty Luther (Randy) of Marysville, Angela Schermerhorn (Rob) of Kalamazoo and Joe Van Poppel of Napoleon, Michigan.; and his grandchildren, Joshua Schudel, Sarah Schudel, Isaac Luther, Matthew Schudel, Grace Luther, Henry Luther, Emme Van Poppel, Holden Van Poppel, Rylan Schermerhorn, Elle Van Poppel and Bryson Schermerhorn.
