He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldor H. Gerken and Winfred Gerken (Raker); his wife Dorothy Gerken (Logsden); his great grandchild Ella Dickerson; his brothers, Leonard and Terry Lee; and his stepson Steven Serratore.
He is survived by: his children, Candace Gill (Rodney), Crystal Bucher (Terry), Clarissa Boyd (Ron), Jason Gerken (Kimberly) and Chandra Krass (Jeff); his stepchildren, Renee Simpson and Jimmy Mehall (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Bryan Mengerink, Andrew Mengerink (Jen), Anthony Bucher, Solita Bucher (Adam), Jasmine LaGesse (Tyler), Logan Dickerson (Alex), Brendan Boyd (Megan), James Gerken, Sabastian Gerken, Victoria Gonzalez (Tony), Taylor Lange (Zach), Alexander Krass and Christopher Krass; his siblings, Mark Gerken (Linda), Bernadean Rader, Patricia Baylis (Dave), Darrel Gerken (Betty) and Sandra Kay Gerken; and his sister-in-law Sherie Gerken. He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren with one arriving soon; 2 step great grandchildren.
