He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Cordes and Emile Cordes (Hurst); his wife Irene E. Botjer; his siblings, Edwin, Alfred, Eldor, Laura Meyer, Minnie Meineke and Tillie Hoffman; and his daughter-in-law Margie Cordes.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Cordes (Mary Cramer), Patricia Wyse (Rodney) and Keith Cordes (Arlene). He is also survived by Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
