She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Shafer and Lula Grace Shafer (Saunders); her son Roy; her grandson Dustin Marksch; her great grandchildren, Gavin Turski and Zachary Kosnik; and her sisters, Carolyn Green, Judy Wolford and Lora Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Snell (Ron) of Waterville, Diana Hicks (David) of Napoleon, Carla Boyett (Kenny) of Campbellsville, KY, Linda Snyder (Dave) of Holgate, Terry Joy (Nancy) of Dacula, GA and Lora Tobias of Dayton; and her siblings, Curtis Shafer, Connie Sell (Roger), Carl Shafer (Mary), Donna Bankey, David Shafer, Kathi Distel (Joseph), Regina Hively (Carl) and Sandra Eis (Doug). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
