She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Ehlers and Meta Ehlers (Seedorf); her husband Harold; her brothers, Eldor Ehlers (Denelda) and Arnold Ehlers; and her foster father Otto Inselmann (Meta).
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Wachtmann (Ruth), Linda Baser (Edwin) and Vernon Wachtmann; her siblings, Norma Beck (Dick), Harold Ehlers (Connie) and Fred Ehlers (Doris); and her sister-in-law Leona Ehlers. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
