We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 87, Elaine M. Mahnke of Napoleon, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Behrens and Annette Behrens (Dehnbostel); her son Steven; her brother Kenneth Behrens (Rita); and her brother-in-law Ted Bostelman.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Mahnke; her children, Deb Kruse (Dave), Denise Hefflinger (Larry) and David Mahnke (Sue Ann); her grandchildren, Joshua Kruse (Kelly), Chad Kruse (Michelle), Corrissa McNay (Ryan), Rachel Palmer (Tom) and Caitlin Counterman (Logan); her great grandchildren, Carter, Kennedy, Khole, Issac, Jax and Hayes; and her sister Margery Bostelman.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. john Lutheran Church – Freedom Township or Elara Caring Hospice.
