He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Slight and Anna Slight (Clausen); and his siblings, Richard "Dickie" Slight, Dorothy Armey, Robert "Bob" Slight, Marcille Eberle and Maxine Judon.

He is survived by: his wife Suzi; his children, Todd Slight (Carol), Jerry Slight (Kitty) and Theresa Wilhelm (Kurt); and his sister Karen Hogrefe (Marty). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Filling Home of Mercy.
