He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sue Gerken; his children, David Mohring (Jody), Bradley Mohring (Kristina) and Casey Bower; his grandchildren, Drake, Joslyn, Jessa, Samuel, Kathryn, Olivia, Zachary, Tyson, Emma and Caden; his sister Nancy Wiechers (Tom); his brother-in-law Tom Tomasello; and his pet Miley.

Memorial contributions may be made to Elara Caring Hospice or the Ridgeville Fire Department.
