It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Leon Kananen of Napoleon, Ohio, born in Laurium, Michigan, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Kananen and Ina Kananen (Waanen); his wife Kathy; and his sister Nancy Sandor (Steve). He is survived by: his children, Laura Lewis (James), Susan Walrath (Brian) and Doug Kananen (Amy); and his grandchildren, Charlotte, Jacob, Elijah Lewis (Katie), Kelley, Tanner Walrath, Ashley, Chase and Colby Hutchison.
