She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Sluss and Ada Sluss (Hartsock); her husband Charles Lawson; and her siblings, Geoff Hartsock and Harriett Ryan.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Miller of Swanton and Rob "Robbie" Lawson (Kris) of Napoleon; her granddaughters, Ashley Moyer (Taylor), Rachel Lawson and Sydney Lawson; and her great grandchild Ellis Moyer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
