He is survived by: his wife Jo Emahiser (Sczepanski); his children, Deb (Bill), Julie Bowen (Tim), Teresa Jones (David), Kay Maassel (Todd) and Greg Emahiser (Toni); his grandchildren, Stephanie Pippin (Carl), Jamie Snyder (Kent), Brad Howe (Chelsea), David Bowen (Ashley), Zach Bowen (Meagan), Joe, Maddie Jones, Lynnsey, Logan Maassel, Sarah Emahiser, Haley (Cameron) and Alexa Polsdorfer; and his sisters, Faye Seel of Swanton and Peg Schwan of Liberty Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CHP of Defiance, Colton United Methodist Church, or Napoleon Fireman's Association.
