She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement Eberle (Clem) and Ethel Eberle (Billig); her former husband James Frederick Herge of Malinta; her husband James Andrew Brentlinger of Swanton; her daughter Kay Ann Hanefeld (Bauer); and her sister Neila Dachenhaus.
She is survived by: her daughter Candice Elliott (Walter Calmese) of Tucson, Arizona; her grandchildren, Shari L. Blackwood (Scott) of Sylvania and Nicholas Elliott of Wenatchee, Washington; her great grandchildren, Justin Michael Blackwood of Cleveland, Jared Evan Blackwood of Jackson, Cameron E. Blackwood (Ashley) of Gahanna, Sage Elliott Keller of Chandler and Tyla Ames of Mesa, Arizona; her great great grandchild Rowan Blackwood of Gahanna, Ohio; her stepchildren, Tom Brentlinger, Terry Brentlinger and Beth Tanner; her stepgrandchildren, Andrew Brentlinger, Adam Brentlinger, Sarah LaBerdia, Tiffani Brentlinger, Brian Brentlinger and Remi Brentlinger; and her nephew Terry Dachenhaus of Danville, Kentucky..
