She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cole and Lois Cole (Brees); her husband Herbert Peters; her daughter Deborah Smotherman; and her sisters, Meredith Cole and Geneva Ballard.
She is survived by: her sons, Rex Peters and Steven Peters (Tammy); and her siblings, Richard Cole (Joyce), Bernida Stewart (Raymond), Beverly Dudley (Tom), Charles Cole (Nancy) and David Cole (Janice). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Due to the current health conditions surrounding COVID-19, masks will be required to attend services or visitation in accordance with the State. The family respectfully asks that you mind social distancing.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Napoleon, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the charity of the donor's choice.
