He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mitchell and Helen Mitchell (Plassman); and his sister Elizabeth Schnitkey (William). He is survived by: his wife Florence Fitzenreiter; his daughters, Ann Fritz (Scott), Sharon Scovanner (Tom) and Carol Small (Andy); his grandchildren, Abby Brass (Ben), Christian Fritz, Margaret Fritz, Ryan Scovanner (Stacy), Derrick Scovanner, Stuart Scovanner, Elliot Small (Elyse), Meredith Wolff (Joe) and Adeline Ripke (Austin); his great grandchildren, Amos, Lionel Brass, Amelia, Sophia Scovanner, Emmitt, Forrest Wolff, Mckenna and Jamie Small; and his brother Donald Mitchell.
