He was predeceased by: his wife Katy; and his daughter Patricia Myers. He is survived by: his pets, Racer and Huffy; his children, Tracy Grund (Mark) of Tallmadge and Cindy King (Glenn) of Uniontown; his grandchildren, Justin, Michael, Megan, Anna, Emma, Shelby and Max; and his sister-in-law Gloria Kittle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either One of a Kind Pet Rescue or Wounded Warrior Project.
