He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gossett and Anna Gossett; his wife Colleen; his grandson Earl Adolphson; and his sister Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Knipp (Wes) and John, Jr. (Becky); and his grandchildren, Duane Adolphson, Amy Maxwell (Matt), David Adolphson, Wendi Schumacher (Rod), Scott Gossett and Megan Hatfield (Cory). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
