She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Starbuck and Clara Starbuck; her sisters, Anna Mae Moffit (Willie), Ruthie Stuckey (Roy Joe) and Betty Osborn (Lawrence); her son-in-law Neal Newlin; and her grandchildren, Jessica Caroline Newlin and Brian Smith Newlin.

She is survived by: her significant other Carl Smith; her children, Sharon Newlin of Stockton, CA, Barb Warrington (Dave) of Hudson, OH and Gary Smith (Tracy) of Winston-Salem, NC.; her grandchildren, Zach Newlin (Courtney), Chris Warrington (Meredith), Susan Ramsey (Zach), Brittany West (DJ) and Bradley Smith (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Jessie, Ellie Newlin, Peter, Kaylee Warrington, Felicity, Lylyn Smart and Ashton Smith; and her sister-in-law Kay Smith of Barnesville.
