He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Brabson and Charlotte Brabson (Hunley). He is survived by: his girlfriend Bonnie King; his children, Kirklynn Ballard and Jared Ballard; his granddaughter Allison Rohrer; and his siblings, Mark Brabson, Belast, Randy Ballard of Colorado, Clarence Brabson of Indiana, Jerry Ballard of Dayton, Patty Ballard of Florida, Tammy Wehrs and Tonya Wimer.

Contributions in Kirk's memory may be made to the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
