He was predeceased by: his significant other Patricia "Pat" Christy (Louderback); and his parents, James Irwin Christy and Gertrude Louise Christy (Rader). He is survived by: his children, Terry Christy (Debbie) of Hillsboro, Tammy Raines (John) of Buford, Tracey Davidson (Craig) of Hillsboro, Todd Christy (Julie) of Sugartree Ridge and Tim Christy (Melissa Combs) of Sugartree Ridge; his grandchildren, Christy Roberts (Andy), Adam Raines (Kassady), Laura Ward (Josh), James (Christy), Michael Davidson (Shauna), Andrea Geddes (Ryan), Jessica Christy and Taryn Christy; his stepgranddaughters, Kyla and Jada Combs; his great grandchildren, Shane, Madison, Ryker, Aubrey, Claire and Ruby; his sister Ann Donnelly; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Bishop (Glen), Beverly Gall, Avonelle Crabtree (Don) and Nancy Bainter (Jack).
