Gene Leon left this world on September 5, 2024 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Greentree and Mary Belle Greentree (Ellis); his stepfather Edward Althauser; and his brother Mac Greentree. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Nathanael, Sarah Gill, Vern IV, Carl and Mariann Woodruff; his brother Jay Greentree (Jean) of Rochester, MN; and his stepbrother Gerald Althauser of Kenton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church (15436 OH-309, Kenton, OH 43326).
