He was predeceased by: his father Tracy Prater; his wife Helen M. Dunson; his great grandchild Jolecia Marie Foulk; and his siblings, Wayne, Wilmer Lee "Speed", Dennis Prater, Shirley Prater and Terry Masi.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shari Jo Prater of West Mansfield and Gina Roth (David) of Bellefontaine; his granddaughters, Amber Foulk and Sallie Kohan (Matt); his great grandchildren, Aundrea, Kaiden, Jaylinn, Emma, Lily, Briar and Rhiya; his siblings, Ted Prater, Jerry Prater (Joyce), Lois Fetherolf (Ken), Vellaree Sue Loomis and Denise Sanborn (Frank); and his nieces, Cathy Dummitt and Terri Lamb.
