He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalres W. McConnell Sr. and Laura McConnell (Huffman); his brother Robert McConnell; his son-in-law Daniel Hunter McConnell; and his stepson Mark Miller.
He is survived by: his former wife Melinda Amstutz; his children, Dr. Jeffery McConnell (Janet Chumley), Chris McConnell (Robin) and Teresa Miller; his stepsons, Blake Radcliffe (Crystal) and Brent Radcliffe (Angie); and his brother William "Bill" McConnell. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
