He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ashcraft and Katherine Ashcraft (Dial); his daughter Christina Wertz; his granddaughter Lori McKeever; and his siblings, Barb Ronshausen, Donna Gleason and Paul Ashcraft.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Ashcraft (Kelley) of Fredericktown and Kathy Balcom (Jeff) of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Jody Thompson (Kyle), Josh Balcom, Kyle Ashcraft (Patty), Kurt Ashcraft and Lindsay Hansen (Scott); his great grandchildren, Kaeden Ashcraft, James Thompson, Madison Thompson, Logan Thompson, Landon Hansen and Emilynn Hansen; and his brother Larry Ashcraft (Shirley) of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Flowers Chapel (619 E High St, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
