With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma P. Carpenter of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on July 6, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Miller and Mabel Miller (Hudson); her husband Lee Carpenter; her son John Blamer; and her siblings, Elva Cornelius, Sylvia Doup, Ellen Tablett, Edna Ormeroid and Eugene Miller.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Blamer of Mount Vernon and Gary Blamer; and her grandchildren, Dannielle Mandala (Dave), Travis Blamer, Shelly Blamer and Jason Blamer. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
