He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Arnold and Phyllis Arnold (Blubaugh); and his brother John Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Karen Arnold (Hedrick); his children, Johnathan Arnold (Marsha) of Washington Courthouse, Elizabeth Powell (Charles) of Howard, Tim Arnold (Heather) of Mount Vernon, Rebecca Tucker (Colton) of Fredericksburg and Virginia; and his siblings, George Arnold (Brenda) of Danville, Steve Arnold of Mount Vernon, Susan Diamond (Frank) of Pataskala, Jean Foucht (Steve) of La Grange, Jane Stolzenburg (Floyd) of Reynoldsburg and Judy Miller (Randy) of Danville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and a great grandson.

“You kicked me off the cross country team before my freshman year, after my parents extended our vacation a couple of days. I missed one practice because we were not home, although I kept running almost every day while we were in FL. I showed up for the first practice when we got back and you told me I was kicked off the team. You would not give me another chance despite my parents taking responsibility.. I hope your eternity is spent feeling the way I did that day.”
