It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Barkman Hatton of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene M. Barkman and Areta M. Barkman (Aller); and her daughter Heather Marie Hatton. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Moore (J. R. Moreland) of Howard and Leslie Lane of New Albany; her granddaughter Faith Moore of Howard; her great grandchild Braxton Walls of Howard; her cousin Beth Ann Choate of Monroe, MI; and her son-in-law Jim Moore of Delaware.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Toledo Memorial Park (6382 Monroe St, Sylvania, OH 43560).
