He was predeceased by: his parents, Claire Duling and Mary Duling (Wiggins); his wife Barbara Duling (Bautner); his son Jeffrey Duling; and his grandchildren, Kris Casteel and Alisha Lucas.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Moore, Susan McNichols and Sonya Wright; and his stepdaughter Penny Eddings. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
