He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Martin and Susie Martin (Longstreth); and his siblings, Clarence Martin, Charles Martin, Carl Martin, Ernest Martin, Edith Jackson and Menedta Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Ann Martin (Smith); his children, Brenda Grimes (Andrew) and David A. Martin; his grandchildren, Will Grimes (Amanda), Breanna Grimes and Beth Ann Kadesch (Kody); his great grandchildren, Madison, Ethan, Kayden, Elijah and Kora; his great great grandchild Delilah; and his sister Shirley Spellman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Flowers Snyder Funeral Home (619 E High St, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home (619 E High St, Mt Vernon, OH 43050).
