He is survived by: his wife Anita; his children, Dan Barron (Heather) of Naples, Mike Barron (Kathi Baker) of The Villages, Florida and Jenny Priest (Brad) of Pataskala; his grandchildren, Christine, Alex, Ashley, Katie, Will, Jack, Annemarie and Zoie; and his sister Jane Libby (Melvin) of Hamden.
He was awarded the Silver Beaver Award in 1980 for his contributions to Scouting.
