It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Melvin Christner (Mount Vernon, Ohio), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Christner and Theora Christner (Bauder); and his wife Daryl Bracken. He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Hoffman (Dennis) and Donna Shiverdecker (Bevin) of Mount Vernon, OH; his granddaughters, Lisa Lahmon (Charles) of Madison and Dr. Karla Adu of Mount Vernon, OH; his great grandchildren, Anna, Chloe, Daniel Lahmon, Bethany Martin (Seth) of Madison, AL and Abigail Adu; his siblings-in-law, Charles Diesroth, David Taylor and Juanita Miller; and his cousin Evelyn Haggerty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
