He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carson and Verna Carson (Sanborn); and his former wife Marilyn R. Carson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bates (Combs); his sons, Edward Carson (Kris), Daniel Carson (Lori) and Andrew Carson; his grandchildren, Kirk Carson (Katie), Danielle Carson, Alexa Carson (Jeramy Pinkerton), Dylan Carson (Kelsie), Brandon Carson, Justin Carson and Travis Carson; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Rowyn, Braelyn, Jasper, Hawthorne and Sylvia; and his sisters, Juanita Crank and Betty Yeary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home (201 Newark Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
