He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond L. Hilkert and Helen M. Hilkert (Baker); and his siblings, Ernest Hilkert (Warren Hilkert) and Doris Seville. He is survived by: his wife Miriam Ruth Hilkert (Moore); his children, David E. Hilkert (Katherine) of LaPlata, Carol R. Rednour (Michael) of Mount Vernon and John S. Hilkert (Amanda) of Tallmadge, Ohio; and his brothers, Larry Hilkert (Gladys) of Clearwater, William Hilkert of Charlotte, Paul Hilkert (Louise) of Milton and Lew Hilkert (Gayle) of West Unity, Ohio. He is also survived by seven grandsons, and one granddaughter; nine great grandchildren.
