She was predeceased by: her parents, John McNeil and Genevieve McNeil (Burgess); her former husband Rene Joris Jr.; her husband Francis Berger Jr.; and her siblings, Jack McNeil and Jo Ann Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Chafin (Don) and Stephen Joris; and her brother Charles McNeil. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
