Charles R. McCutchen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles R. McCutchen of Mount Vernon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Charles departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul McCutchen and Sarah Ruth McCutchen (Barton); his sister Ruth Isabelle McCutchen; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Poland and Donald Goodin.
He is survived by: his wife Marla McCutchen (Poland); his son Michael McCutchen (Holly) of Butler; his sister Kathleen Goodin of Mount Vernon; and his sister-in-law Judi Poland of Mount Vernon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lasater Chapel (11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
