He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer "Lee" Hendrickson and Lotha "Gene" Hendrickson (Reger); and his brother Paul Hendrickson. He is survived by: his close friend Stan Osborn of Mount Vernon, OH; his children, Karl Hendrickson (Lori Kuhn) of Yellow Springs, OH and Christy Hendrickson of Obetz, OH; his grandchildren, Molly, Vaughn and Kira; his sister-in-law Pat Hendrickson; his niece Cindy Hendrickson of Olathe, KS; his nephew Brian Hendrickson (Deanna) of Lancaster, OH; his stepmother Evelyn Hendrickson of Winchester, IN; and his close friends, Lee and Marge Rhoades of Mount Vernon, OH.
