It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benny Ray Ferrell in Mount Vernon, Ohio, born in Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Ferrell and Evelyn Ferrell (Steele); and his sister Patricia Ferrell Depew. He is survived by: his sister Brenda Ferrell Sampsel (Bruce); his nieces and nephews, Matthew Ferrell (Christine), Israel Depew (Nicole), Nathan Sampsel and Ariana Sampsel; his great-nephew Joshua Depew; his great-niece Abigail Depew; and his brother-in-law David Depew.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Knox County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
