It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica Lynn Marcum of Mount Sterling, Ohio, born in Williamson, West Virginia, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Walter Fields, Mary Muncy and Everett Spurlock; and her aunt Rose Spurlock. She is survived by: her parents, David Spurlock (Art) and Kathy Fields Spurlock of Kermit, WV; her fiancé Jimmy Lee Chafins of Mt. Sterling, OH; her sons, David of Williamson, WV and Alvin Marcum of Williamson, WV; her sisters, Rose Mary "Pookie" Jeffrey (Miguel) of Kermit, WV and Jessica "Boober" Evans (David) of New Holland, OH; and her nephews, Samuel, David, Michael, Johnathan and Raymond.
