It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Jones of Mount Perry, Ohio, born in Fultonham, Ohio, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert M. Jones; and her parents, John Gallis and Marie Gallis. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Newhard (Lewis) of Columbus and Jennifer Korterud (Kevin) of New Albany; her grandchildren, Krista Dooly (Matt), Julia Newhard, Michael Newhard (Katherine) and Caroline Korterud; her great grandchildren, Connor and Nolan Dooly; and her sisters, Virginia Beaver and Shirley Mason. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests posts be made to Hazel's memory wall, a tree be planted in her name, or a donation in Hazel's honor to a no-kill animal shelter.
