He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond D. Bauer and Etta L. Bauer (Doyle); his wife Patricia M. Bauer; and his brother Joseph W. "Joe" Bauer. He is survived by: his children, Tammi Hughes (John), Brenda White (Jay), Terry, Joseph Hartman (Lisa) and Edward "Eddy" Bauer Jr. (Melissa); his siblings, Bob Bauer (Linda) and Julia "Sis"; and his grandchildren, Trisha Holmes (Kris), Fallon Mayle (Aaron), Kody Hartman, Karleigh Hartman, Kameron Hartman, Kalli Hartman, Kaiden Hartman, Easton Smith, Mikel Hartman, Alex Hartman, Madison Kelly, Samuel Bauer, Grant Bauer, Dallas (Neha Agarwal White) and Danielle Hindle (Jacob). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
