He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence C. Rockwell and Lillie B. Rockwell (Stotts); his wife Judy Ann Rockwell (McElroy); his brothers, William and Eugene; his sister-in-law Mary Ellen (Wilson); his brother Arthur; his sister-in-law Sandra (Crawmer); and his sister Eileen.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Lillie), Michael (Tessa), Paul (Cynthia) and Matthew (Ricci); his grandchildren, Jessica Galloway (Ryan), Jessie Wise (Ryan), Luke (Sarah), Kaleb (Cali), Jacob (Casey), Raven, Paxton and Willy; and his great grandchildren, Finlea, Brooklyn and Daniel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
