He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Allen and Ollie Allen; his siblings, John Allen, Dot Gilman and Donny Allen; and his son Christopher Frankl.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Allen; and his children, Rhonda Earles (Bill) of Nashville, Kathy Young of Knoxville, Greg Allen of Knoxville, Jonathan Allen of Cincinnati, Kyle, Jennifer Frankl (Harold Fryer) of Patriot, Kimberly Frankl of Cincinnati and Carrie Stansell (Joshua) of Frankfort, Kentucky.. He is also survived by grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
