He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Gene and Louise R. Murrell (Evans); his brother Phillip Murrell; his sister-in-law Brenda Lee Murrell (Caskey); his parents-in-law, Earline and Charles Spears; and his nephews, Andrew Joseph Strong and Joseph Andrew Murrell.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Robinson (Michael) of West Chester and Kyle Koch of Indiana; his wife Peggy Spears of Cincinnati; and his siblings, Pamela Murrell of Cincinnati, Stanley Murrell (Vicky) of Williamsburg, Dennis Murrell (Helen) of Mt. Orab, Therese Murrell of Lexington, Jonathan Murrell (Rita) of Indiana, Cathy Burton (Doug) of Mt. Orab, Ohio., Elaine Strong (Timothy) of Mt. Orab, Ohio. and Joseph Murrell of Mt. Orab, Ohio.. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
