He is survived by: his wife Jill Shields Johnston of Cincinnati; his daughter Kate Johnston Tucker; his son-in-law Lee Tucker of Louisville; his daughter Bridget (Johnston Mountjoy); his son-in-law Brian Mountjoy of Danville; his daughter Susan; and his granddaughters, Sofia Tucker, Margaux Tucker, Isabella Tucker, Nina Mountjoy, Eve Mountjoy and Betsy Ryan.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Megie Funeral Home & Crematory - Craver Chapel (529 Main St, Milford, OH 45150).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Cincinnati.
